How it works if a short storage period is needed
Sometimes you may only need storage for a short time, such as during summer classes or when moving off campus at the start of a lease.
Storage term and pricing
Our standard storage term is based on a full semester. This is usually:
- About 3 months for boarding schools
- Up to 4 months for universities
- Any length in between, depending on the school schedule
Important: shorter storage periods do not qualify for reduced storage costs.
If your storage period is shorter than 3 weeks, we can review your request to see whether any current discounts may apply. Discount eligibility is not guaranteed.
Pickup and delivery dates
Included pickup and delivery dates are provided for students moving out and moving back in. If you request a pickup or delivery outside of those included dates, additional fees will apply and are available in your online service profile.
To avoid extra charges, you can also schedule to drop off or pick up items directly from the warehouse:
- Drop off: Free
- Pickup: $50
