How to set up Ship to School
The following walks through the process to set up your account for shipping packages for in-room delivery.
This article covers the following topics.
Supply Kit
Once registered, start with scheduling the delivery of your supply kit if you want one.
Click on the top section of your logged in account where it says Supply Kit
Then select the green box that says 'Add Included Supply Kit'
Select 1 included supply kit.
Additional 5-box kits can be added at $49.99 each.
Add the address where you want to receive the supply kit. Note: UPS delivers where packages are received.
Select when you want the kit to be shipped by UPS Ground. Remember, packages must be received no later than 2 weeks before your scheduled move.
Save and Submit (click the orange button)
Shipping Labels
Once you have everything packed and you know how many boxes are to be shipped.
Click the 'Shipping' section. It's the 3rd section down from the top.
Select the first green button that says 'Add Boxes to UPS pickup.'
Input student name. (if student is set for account this will be pre-filled)
Add the ship from the address if needed - is already filled from the supply kit address.
The label form is already set up for our signature boxes. If using boxes different than the ones we provide, enter the dimensions and weight of the box you are shipping.

Our signature boxes are rated for up to 45 lbs.
- if the box is heavier additional overage fees will apply
- If a box dimensions is greater than what is stated on the shipping label additional overage fees will apply.
Click 'Add Another Package' and repeat for every box.
Select the orange box at the bottom that says 'Calculate Pricing'
The estimated cost will reflect at the top of the page with a breakdown for freight and handling fees.
Choose your coverage - $200 per box is included by default.
Click the orange button that says 'Order Labels and Continue'
In the Shipping section you will now be able to print the labels to attach to each related box.
You can cancel extra labels as long as they have not been printed
Once the UPS scan syncs with your online account you will be able to track its progress.
UPS Pickup
Now that your labels are created, you can schedule a UPS Pickup.
- The first pickup is free, following pickups are $10 each.
- If scheduling for residential areas, UPS can arrive as late as 9 pm.
In the 'To Storage' section click the green box that says 'Schedule a UPS Pickup'
Select the date that you want the UPS pickup.
- UPS does not allow pickups scheduled until 2 weeks before the desired date. If needed set a reminder to come back and schedule if it is beyond the 2 weeks.
Enter the address where you want the pickup to occur and add a contact who can be contacted in the event that there is an issue with the pickup.
Select the orange box with 'Schedule Pickup'.
- UPS pickups can be canceled and rescheduled up to the day before.
Shop and Ship
You can make online purchases or from any retailer to have shipped to us for in - room delivery.
From the 'Shipping' section click the green box that says 'Add Ship In Packages'
IMPORTANT! Use the shipping address provided in this section along with the Order # as shown below. This ensures the warehouse is able to receive packages and process to the correct account. Failure to do so may cause costly delays in getting the packages delivered.
Fill out the details for each package.
The first drop down determines if the 3rd party is Amazon, Walmart, or a different retailer. If different fill in the shipper name.
- Once tracking numbers are provided (usually when the package is shipped), make sure to update the Shop and Ship section so that we can track progress.
Do not provide Initial order numbers as we cannot track packages with this number.
Delivery Set Up
Navigate to the FROM STORAGE section.
Click on the green button: SCHEDULE DELIVERY….
Select 'Mover delivery within 4 months of the pickup date', Save and Continue.
Review the date the customer is requesting to determine if it is FEATURED or ON-DEMAND.
Featured - these dates are GREEN and have no additional cost.
On-Demand - these dates can be requested for an additional cost (fee present when you hover over the date) and require approval.
- The card on file will be charged immediately.
- The date is not guaranteed it requires approval.
- The customer will receive an update on their request via email.
If the date is un-selectable then it is not available.
After selecting the date, the next step is to set up the primary and alternate (optional) contact details. These are the numbers that the movers will call when they are close.
Click the SAVE & CONTINUE button to move to the next screen.
Enter the delivery location details.
If moving into an off-campus location or their dorm is not listed, select OFF CAMPUS in the delivery location drop down and enter the full physical address of the residence.
Finally, Save & Continue to save all the details. Once back on the main account page, review and confirm the details you entered are reflected correctly.
IMPORTANT: Any change request to the delivery date or location within 2 business days of the scheduled date of service will generate a rescheduling/cancellation charge of $35.
- To avoid this, please reach out a minimum 3 business days before making the change.
