Introduction to Ship to School
We’re thrilled to inform you about our amazing ship-to-school program!
This program allows you to send as many boxes as you require, and you can conveniently shop online to have your items shipped directly to our warehouse.
It is as easy as 1,2,3!
Register for our service, set the delivery of your supply kit, and schedule your UPS pickup. We'll take it from there.
The registration fee is just $39.99. If you need packing boxes, we’re happy to include a complimentary 5-box kit with tape! Just a heads up, there is a handling fee for each box you send our way.
The cost per box depends on how many you ship to us. The more you send, the more you save! Plus, the handling fees cover up to 1 month of storage, too!
Pricing
The more you ship the more you save. Here is how the savings break down:
- 1-5 boxes at $44.99 per box handling + UPS freight
- 6-9 boxes at $34.99 per box handling + UPS freight
- 10+ boxes at $24.99 per box handling + UPS freight
- Small boxes, sleeves, or envelopes (like an Amazon order for a headset or desk organizer) are $19.99 for envelopes/micro tier per box handling + freight.
If purchasing online, the retailer will generally cover freight costs.
Just a couple of important notes:
- For overweight boxes (over 50 lbs), there’s an additional $25 fee per item.
- For over-sized boxes (greater than 6 cu. ft.), there’s also an additional $25 fee per item.
- DRM recommends all packages be shipped to our facility to arrive a minimum of 2 weeks before the desired delivery date.
Delivery
We’re pleased to offer delivery dates for at no extra cost on our included dates, which are aligned with the school calendar for returning students.
If you need delivery outside of these dates, there may be an additional cost, and it will need to be approved by our warehouse.
Freshmen can avoid this extra cost by bringing with them essentials to get by until your boxes are delivered on one of the included dates mentioned above.
When making purchases online
- Use the shipping address provided on your account along with the Order #. This ensures the warehouse is able to receive packages and process to the correct account.
- Once tracking numbers are provided (usually when the package is shipped), make sure to update the Shop and Ship section so that we can track progress.
- Do not provide Initial order numbers as we cannot track packages with this number.
