Study Abroad Storage 101

How Storage works for Study Abroad services?

The storage process works the same way our Summer storage program does with some small differences.

• Register for $49.99.
• Schedule the delivery of your supply kit (Optional).
• Select your pickup date.
  • Is included if on one of our normal pickup dates.
    • Additional costs apply depending on the date you are selecting if outside our normal pickup dates.
• If you are unsure when you will be returning, feel free to click the “Skip For Now” option to return to your main account page.
• 24-48 hours prior to your selected service dates, a text will be sent to the primary contact number listed in your account providing your 3-hour estimated time slot.
• Storage extensions may be set up directly from the Your Inventory section of your online account. 
  • You may choose to extend on a continuous month to month or a 4 month recurring basis.
    • For boarding schools a 3 months recurring cycle is available.
• The system sends periodic check-in emails make sure any arrangements are made in a timely manner to ensure a smooth return.
• Once your return plans are solidified you can schedule your delivery directly in your account.
  • Is included if on one of our normal delivery dates.
  • Additional costs apply depending on the date you are selecting if outside our normal delivery dates. 
  • If not returning to campus we can ship boxes anywhere UPS services. 

How Pricing works for Study Abroad storage.

• The card on file is charged automatically.
• Flexible recurring billing cycles.
  • Set up directly from your online account.
  • Month to month
  • 4 month "semesters" 
    • 3 months for boarding/prep schools 
  • First payment due 3 days after completion of pickup.
• Storage pricing is per inventoried box/item stored and billed at the start of each billing cycle.

How Dates work For Study Abroad storage

• The included dates we offer align with your school’s normal move-in/out schedule.
• If you are needing pickup or delivery outside of your school’s normal move-in/out schedule.
  • Cost depends on which date is submitted for approval.
    • Lower priced dates have an improved chance of approval.
  • Date must be approved by our local team
  • We do not provide service on weekends at most schools.
  • We service off-campus locations within 10 minutes of the school.
  • You may view additional costs directly from your online account.

When will I be billed For my Study Abroad storage service?

• The initial payment is available directly from your online account once pickup is completed
• A three day "grace period" is provided to allow time for you to review inventory for accuracy. 
• After 3 days the initial payment is charged to the card on file. 
• Recurring monthly billing cycles charge the card on file 30 days after initial pickup date and continue every 30 day until retrieval is arranged.
• Recurring 4 month cycles charge 120 days after initial pickup date and continue every 120 days until retrieval is arranged.
