- These dates are aligned with the school’s end-of-Spring move-out and start-of-Fall move-in schedule.
- Weekend move-in dates and Labor Day are generally not included, except at select campuses.
- Dates are coordinated with partnered school administration so services can be provided after students have left or just before they return.
Once an included date reaches capacity, an overflow fee of $49.99 may apply to accommodate additional stops.
Non-included dates
Non-included dates fall outside the standard service window for a particular school.
- These dates have additional costs and require advance approval.
- Fees vary by school and by date and are designed to compensate the local moving team for special routing and scheduling needs.
- Approval is not guaranteed and is based on:
- Truck availability
- Crew availability
- Existing route commitments
Cost range and payment:
- Costs typically start at $49.99 and can be as high as $499.99, depending on the request.
- The full amount is paid as a deposit upfront and is automatically refunded if the date request is declined.
Non-selectable or grayed-out dates
Some dates appear grayed out or cannot be selected on the calendar for operational or school-related reasons:
- The date falls outside business hours
- The warehouse is generally closed on Saturdays and Sundays.
- The date is a national holiday.
- Trucks have already reached maximum capacity for that date.
- The school has arranged for Dorm Room Movers to come on campus only after all students have left, limiting available days.
- The school has specifically requested that services not be provided on campus on that date.
Delivery dates and any applicable fees are available for review within the account’s date calendar before finalizing registration or scheduling.
