When supply kits ship
Supply kits are shipped from a centralized distribution site at 12:00 p.m. Central Time on the next business day after the order is placed.
Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding major holidays.
How long delivery takes
Once shipped via UPS Ground:
- Delivery can take up to 5 business days, depending on:
- Distance from the distribution site
- Weather conditions and any regional delays
Most kits arrive within this window, but timing can vary based on location and incremental weather.
How to track the supply kit
When UPS scans have synced with the Dorm Room Movers system:
- An automated email is sent with updated tracking information.
- Tracking details also appear on the main account page in the Supply Kit section of the online service profile.
This allows progress to be monitored from shipment through final delivery.
If the supply kit may not arrive in time
If there is concern that the supply kit might not arrive in time to prepare for the move, contact Dorm Room Movers for alternate solutions.
Messaging support early provides more options to ensure packing can still be completed on schedule.
